The event brought together around 200 entrepreneurs representing the industrial, agricultural, pharmaceutical, textile, electrical engineering, construction, logistics, and tourism sectors.
The Syrian delegation included representatives of both the public and private sectors, among them the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, heads and members of regional trade and economic structures from Damascus, Homs, Daraa, Tartus, Latakia, Hama, Deir ez-Zor, and Idlib, as well as representatives of industry associations and businesses.
In his remarks, Minister L.Kudratov emphasized the importance of translating historically established ties into concrete trade and investment projects. Priority areas identified include food products, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, textiles, and industrial cooperation. Proposals were put forward to develop joint processing and packaging of goods, establish sustainable logistics channels, hold regular B2B meetings, and explore the opening of an Uzbekistan Trade House in Syria.
Following the forum, agreements were reached on expanding mutual supplies and launching joint initiatives.
