It should be noted that the joint military exercises conducted annually among our countries play a vital role in strengthening regional security, developing military cooperation, and exchanging experience.

The event at the Central military district served as a logical continuation of the international military-scientific conference held on April 8 of this year in Tashkent. During the meeting, representatives of each participating country delivered reports.

Speaking at the round table on the topic “The Current State and prospects for the development of cooperation between the general staffs of the Armed Forces of the Central Asian States and the Republic of Azerbaijan,” participants emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts to develop joint strategies aimed at ensuring stability and security in the region.

In addition, the military-scientific event addressed common issues related to ensuring peace and stability in the region. Participants reviewed proposals and expert opinions aimed at elevating joint military-scientific activities in the field of defense and security to a new level.

The meeting also included discussions on the current state and future prospects for cooperation between the general staffs of the Armed Forces of the regional countries, as well as potential interaction with academic and educational institutions in the field of defense and security.

As a result of the event, representatives of the defense ministries of the Central Asian states and the Republic of Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
