Cadets of Higher Military Educational Institutions Took the Oath of Allegiance to the Motherland

In particular, early in the morning at the University of National Security and Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, cadets newly admitted to this educational institution solemnly pledged allegiance to the Motherland.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov, members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense, military personnel, parents, and cadets. Speakers at the event warmly congratulated all the cadets on taking their first steps toward mastering the noble profession of defending the Motherland.
A similar solemn oath-taking ceremony also took place at the Institute of Ground Forces of the University of National Security and Defense.
In addition, high-level “Oath to the Motherland” ceremonies were held at the Military Aviation Institute, the Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications, as well as at the Military Medical Institute.
At the events, representatives of the public particularly highlighted the conditions being created for military personnel in our country, as well as the reforms being implemented in the field of social protection for servicemen. They wished the cadets success in their studies and future service.
The cadets, having kissed the national flag — the sacred symbol of our country — solemnly vowed before the spirits of the great ancestors and before the Motherland to fulfill their duty with honor, to remain true to conscience, honor, and dignity, to preserve lifelong loyalty to the Republic of Uzbekistan, to their people, and to the President, and to justify the high trust of the nation even in the face of the most difficult trials. Their oath was witnessed by relatives and members of the broader public.
