On July 14, a solemn opening ceremony was held for the joint exercises, which are conducted under the theme: "Special operations of troops to eliminate illegal armed groups." Representatives of the Ministries of Defense of both countries took part in the opening ceremony and elaborated on the objectives and tasks of the exercises. In particular, it was noted that these exercises are important for strengthening the knowledge and practical skills of servicemen from both countries, as well as for improving the ability to conduct combat operations in desert conditions.

The main goals of these exercises include the development of interstate military cooperation, strengthening combat brotherhood, improving command skills during the planning and execution of special operations, sharing experience in preparing and conducting joint combat missions, and carrying out coordinated modern tactical actions.

Special units consisting of about 400 servicemen are involved in the exercises. The Russian side is participating with the use of its military equipment. Servicemen from both countries are jointly carrying out various special tasks in combat conditions: commanding units, ensuring the security of the state border, and eliminating a simulated enemy.
The exercise program also includes combat training sessions, cultural and recreational activities, and sports competitions.

It should be noted that the ten-day exercises are conducted in accordance with the military cooperation plan signed between the two states.
