The competition took place at the “Commando” Mountain Training Center in the city of Isparta, Türkiye, with participation from over ten countries including Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Pakistan, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Italy, and the United Arab Emirates. Observer teams from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait were also present.
Participants were divided into groups and competed in nearly 15 challenging categories such as:
“High-Angle Shooting,”
“Combat Shooting in Gas Masks,”
“Shooting from an Unstable Position at Unknown Distances,”
“Shooting from Behind Various Obstacles,”
“Shooting from a Helicopter in the Air,”
“Defending the Island and Combat Shooting from a Boat,”
“Stealth Approach and Firing at a Target,”
“Running 5 km with Gear and Weapons Followed by Cold-Barrel Shooting,”
“Night Shooting at Unknown Distances,”
and a “Surprise” challenge.
The tasks were extremely demanding, but our servicemen demonstrated their exceptional skills by hitting targets ahead of schedule and proving their high level of combat readiness.
Over the course of nearly 10 days, among 48 teams representing foreign armed forces, the team from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Defense proudly secured 1st place and was awarded the gold medal.
It’s worth noting that this was Uzbekistan’s fourth participation in the competition. The team previously achieved 2nd place in 2022 and 2023, and now 1st place in 2024 and 2025.
Participation in such international competitions plays an important role in enhancing our military personnel’s combat readiness, while also promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience.
