Military delegation of the Slovak Republic visited our country

At the start of the event, an official welcome ceremony took place, featuring the participation of the Guard of Honor and the national anthems of both countries.
During the meeting on bilateral cooperation held at the Ministry of Defense’s central office, Lieutenant General Bakhodir Kurbanov welcomed the delegation members to Uzbekistan, emphasizing that the friendly relations established between the two countries contribute to strengthening bilateral ties across various fields.
In recent years, close and effective cooperation has developed between our countries, grounded in traditions of strong friendship, mutual respect, and understanding. Open and constructive dialogue in diverse spheres and formats is actively supported, while trade, economic, cultural, and educational relations continue to expand rapidly.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed international political issues and the regional agenda, reviewed the current state of cooperation in security and defense, and explored prospects for further development in these areas.
Following the official reception, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Slovakia Robert Kalinak, along with his delegation and accompanied by the Guard of Honor, laid flowers at the Ode to Fortitude monument in the Victory Park memorial complex. They also toured exhibits at the State Museum of Glory and viewed several other monuments in the Victory Park memorial complex.
The visit of the military delegation from the Slovak Republic to our country is ongoing. According to the visit's agenda, the delegation will also tour various Ministry of Defense facilities to learn more about their infrastructure and activities.
