The competition is aimed not only at identifying the finest snipers among the Ministry of defense’s troops, but also at enhancing their professional skills and facilitating the exchange of experience.
Over the course of a week, participants completed around ten challenging exercises in various climatic conditions and across different types of terrain. The competition tested not only their marksmanship, but also their physical endurance and psychological resilience. Each exercise was made more challenging by unconventional scenarios and physical demands. Participants were required to locate targets, determine distances and engage targets within a limited time, while also completing running drills and obstacle courses. Despite these challenges, they demonstrated their ability to maintain shooting accuracy by controlling their breathing.
The snipers’ performance individually, in pairs and as part of teams further strengthened their ability to work cohesively, support one another and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Notably, the teams representing the Eastern and Tashkent military districts achieved perfect scores of 100 percent in certain exercises. The close competition and outstanding results meant that the winner of the “Best Sniper Team” contest was determined only after the final event.
Following an intense competition marked by fierce rivalry, the results were as follows:
1st place — Eastern military district team;
2nd place — Tashkent military district team;
3rd place — South-western special military district team.
At the conclusion of the competition, the winning and runner-up teams were formally presented with trophies, diplomas and commemorative gifts by the leadership of the Ministry of defense.
