The event was attended by the leadership of the higher school, officials from the Samarkand regional Department of defense affairs, students and their parents, veterans, and representatives of the public.
The speakers emphasized that educating well-rounded, independent-minded, determined young people who feel responsible for the future of their Motherland is one of the most important tasks. It was also noted that the “Schools of courage” play a significant role in developing students’ intellectual potential, physical abilities, willpower, and leadership skills.
During the most moving moments of the ceremony, the students solemnly pledged to serve their Motherland faithfully, cherish peace in the country and tranquility among its people, respect national values, and fulfill their duties with honor.
For reference, the “Schools of courage” offer advanced instruction in mathematics, pre-conscription basic training, history, physical education, foreign languages, and physics. In addition, classes in robotics, medical training, legal literacy, and traditional national sports help improve students’ practical knowledge, physical fitness, and essential life skills.
