Initially, high-ranking guests got acquainted with the activities of the Central military clinical hospital of the Ministry of defense and the Military medical academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. After that, practical negotiation meeting was organized at the Armed Forces academy in the participation of attenders of the international conference. While meeting which was chaired by the first deputy minister of defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the heads of the military medical service and leading experts of the defense ministries of the Commonwealth of nations discussed the planned cooperation activities in the future. The first deputy minister of defense — the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces stressed that the visit of the participants of the international military medical conference to Uzbekistan will be effective in all respects and noted that exchange of experience in this regard will be effective for each country.

Current international military medical conference “Tashkent-2024” within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States will last for three days and a number of practical events will take place within its framework.

These include more than a dozen master-class surgical operations with the participation of experienced doctors of the Central military clinical hospital of the Ministry of defense of Uzbekistan. Furthermore, delegation of the Russian Federation will visit Samarkand and get acquainted with the activities of the medical academy which operated on an all-union scale during the Second World War.
