Teachers and Mentors honored at military educational institutions

In connection with October 1 — Teachers’ and Mentors’ Day — festive events were held at the University of Military Security and Defense and at the institutes under its jurisdiction. The events were attended by the leadership of military educational institutions, veterans of the Ministry of Defense, academic and teaching staff, doctoral students, cadets, and military personnel.
Those who addressed the ceremonies extended their sincere congratulations to the academic and teaching staff, mentors, veterans, and the university community on the occasion of the holiday, expressing appreciation for their significant contribution to the training of military personnel and the enhancement of their professional and moral potential.
During the events, it was noted that the University of Military Security and Defense is consistently implementing transformation processes, while work is underway to train and retrain military personnel, improve their qualifications, and strengthen the university’s research potential. The achievements made in these areas were also highlighted.
Particular attention was paid to efforts to introduce advanced practices in education and science, study international experience, and apply it within the national military education system.
On the occasion of the holiday, a group of military personnel, employees of the Armed Forces, as well as members of the academic and teaching staff, were awarded the “For Exemplary Service” and “Qualified Mentor” badges of honor, certificates of merit, and valuable gifts for their contributions to military education.
Today, the university’s international cooperation is also developing steadily, having a positive impact on the educational process. In particular, cadets, students, and doctoral students from foreign countries are studying at the university at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.
On the eve of the holiday, a group of university professors, teachers, and mentors were recognized on behalf of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan. They were presented with certificates of honor and commemorative gifts.
The artistic program of the celebrations was also held in high spirits. Musical performances and songs presented by the Central Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces, the ensembles of the Border Troops of the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as renowned artists of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan, created a festive atmosphere for the participants.
