Representatives of the Uzbek delegation took part in the opening ceremony of the 6th Azerbaijan international defense industry exhibition “ADEX 2026”, held in Baku.
Notably, at this exhibition, which is regarded as one of the most authoritative and effective platforms in the region for the defense industry, representatives of Uzbekistan’s defense-industrial complex are showcasing the production and technological potential of the country’s domestic defense industry under the unified national brand “Made in Uzbekistan.”
As part of the exhibition, Minister of defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan Lieutenant General Shukhrat Khamukhamedov met with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
During the meeting, the Minister of defense briefed the President of Azerbaijan on modern defense products manufactured by domestic enterprises and displayed at the national pavilion, including ammunition, personal protective equipment, military gear, aviation equipment, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles and counter-drone systems.
During the bilateral talks, the sides expressed confidence that the “ADEX” and “Securex Caspian” exhibitions would make a significant contribution to establishing new business contacts among participants and further strengthening military-technical cooperation.
