Anti-Corruption Measures and Principles of Integrity Discussed

The event was attended by military personnel of the Ministry of Defence and representatives of the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event addressed the negative impact of corruption on society and public administration, new legislative requirements in the field of combating corruption, as well as issues related to the implementation of integrity standards in public institutions.
The event was organized under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Defence responsible for compliance and internal anti-corruption control. Particular attention was paid to the early identification and prevention of corruption risks, avoidance of conflicts of interest, strict compliance with legal requirements, and ensuring impartiality and transparency in official activities.
In addition, representatives of the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan provided explanations and recommendations on the legal framework for combating corruption, preventing violations, and observing the principles of legality and responsibility in the performance of official duties.
During the event, the importance of fostering zero tolerance towards any form of corruption, exercising official powers lawfully and conscientiously, and making integrity and responsibility key principles of daily professional activities was emphasized.
