The main objectives of the exercise, which involves military personnel from the defense ministries of the three countries, combat equipment, naval and aviation assets, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, are to enhance readiness for joint operations, improve interoperability among the troops, standardize training procedures, and develop the combat capabilities of military units.
During the opening ceremony, officials delivered speeches emphasizing that the key aspects of such joint exercises include sharing best practices across various fields, learning from one another’s modern approaches and methods, and further developing practical cooperation between military units.
It was also noted that the exercise would contribute to the effective fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the participants, facilitate the exchange of experience, and further strengthen cooperation.
For reference: The three-stage exercise will take place at the Gizilgaya Training Center in the Karabakh Economic Region, the Garabaghlar Training Center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the Boyuk Zira Training Ground in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
