In particular, the Law “On mobilization preparation and mobilization” provides for the regulation, on a unified legal basis, of relations related to the organization of mobilization preparation in peacetime, meeting the needs of the state and the population during a special period, as well as conducting general or partial mobilization.

Particular attention is paid to clearly defining the tasks and responsibilities of state bodies, economic sectors, organizations, and citizens in the mobilization process, as well as ensuring effective coordination among them.

The Committee members also comprehensively considered the Law “On the status of military personnel and their social protection.”

The law is aimed at regulating relations related to the legal and social protection of various categories of military personnel, citizens involved in military training, citizens discharged from military service to the reserve or retirement, and, in cases established by law, family members of military personnel.

An important provision of the document is the strengthening of the legal framework for ensuring the rights, social guarantees, and benefits established for military personnel and their family members.

In addition, the meeting considered the Law “On amendments and additions to article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On licensing, permitting, and notification procedures,’” aimed at improving the legal framework for activities related to ensuring the protection of state secrets.

The law provides for eliminating legal gaps and ambiguities, as well as strengthening requirements in the field of state secrets protection.

Following the discussion, the Committee adopted the relevant decisions.
