Currently, short-term training courses have been organized in military units of the Ministry of defense to provide conscript servicemen with training in professions that are in demand in the labor market, in accordance with the principle of “One soldier — one profession.”

In particular, conscript servicemen serving in a military unit located in the Zangiata district of Tashkent region are acquiring knowledge and practical skills in more than ten areas at the military unit, in cooperation with Tashkent State Technical University. These areas include vehicle maintenance, auto mechanics, general mechanics, computer operation, accounting, working with AutoCAD, computer graphics, and others.

In addition, foreign language classes have been organized for servicemen, along with spiritual and educational activities and creative clubs. They actively participate in the “Shield of spirituality” (“Ma’naviyat qalqoni”) competitions and cultural events, making meaningful use of their free time.

As part of the project, some servicemen are improving their qualifications in information technology and cybersecurity, while others are receiving training in professions such as driver, mechanic, vehicle maintenance specialist, and locksmith.

The “One soldier — one profession” project contributes not only to the effective completion of compulsory military service, but also to enhancing the professional potential of young people, preparing them for independent life as specialists equipped with modern professional skills, and promoting their employment.
