Held under the motto "One Homeland, One Nation, One Heart," the camp runs from July 22 to August 3. It brings together around 250 young compatriots aged 7 to 14 from 14 countries, including Qatar, Italy, the Netherlands, the United States, Greece, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Tajikistan.
The opening ceremony featured a concert by the Separate Exemplary Military Band of the Ministry of Defense. The vibrant performance, combining traditional Uzbek and contemporary musical pieces, left a lasting impression on the participants while fostering patriotism and love for their homeland. In addition, servicemen demonstrated hand-to-hand combat techniques, combat training exercises, and special military performances, which attracted great interest from the audience and further strengthened the children's pride in and trust toward the defenders of the nation.
As part of the program, the children will meet renowned writers, government and public figures, members of parliament, and military personnel. The camp also offers traditional sports games, Uzbek language workshops, essay and reading competitions, folk crafts and national cuisine master classes, the intellectual game Zakovat, an environmental campaign, creative contests, and the Mass Dictation project, in which all 250 participants will take part.
To promote the Uzbek language, a series of initiatives will be held, including "Uzbek 24/7," "There Is Uzbek, After All!," "Write Without Mistakes," and "In Pure Uzbek," as well as debates on the theme "My Language Is My Identity."
At the conclusion of the program, participants will plant a "Compatriots' Garden" on the camp grounds. Winners of the competitions and the most active participants in the project will receive awards.
