The event was attended by qualified representatives of the Tashkent military prosecutor's office, who provided a comprehensive overview of the harmful impact of corruption on the development of society and the state, the factors contributing to its emergence, and the systemic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan to prevent and combat corruption. Particular attention was paid to the current anti-corruption legislation, as well as to the importance of strictly adhering to the principles of integrity, impartiality, and responsibility in public and military service.
Using practical examples, the experts explained that extortion and other forms of corruption not only result in legal liability but also undermine the principles of justice, erode public trust in state institutions, and negatively affect the healthy moral and psychological climate within military units.
During the event, it was emphasized that devoted service to the Motherland, the conscientious fulfillment of official duties by every servicemember, and unwavering compliance with the law and military discipline are essential prerequisites for strengthening the authority of the Armed forces, enhancing their combat readiness, and increasing their overall operational capability.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the specialists answered participants' questions in detail. They also provided practical recommendations on the timely identification and elimination of corruption risks, the prevention of offenses, ensuring legality in official activities, and improving the legal awareness and legal culture of military personnel.
