The first recipients of the state scholarship of the supreme Commander-in-Chief Have Been Determined

In order to ensure the implementation of these tasks, the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to implement the tasks identified during the open dialogue between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and youth” (Decree No. UP-61 dated 26 March 2025) was adopted.
In accordance with this Decree, starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, a state scholarship of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief has been introduced on a competitive basis for final-year cadets in order to support gifted youth.
In addition, recipients of this scholarship, upon completion of their bachelor’s degree programs, are granted the right to enroll in master’s degree programs at higher military educational institutions without entrance examinations for a period of five years.
On the eve of the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and 14 January – Defenders of the Motherland Day, four final-year cadets of the University of Military Security and Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its affiliated institutes were awarded the State Scholarship of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The award was granted for their high level of intellectual potential, outstanding achievements in international and national olympiads, competitions and contests, excellent performance in the educational and training process, exemplary discipline, as well as rational and initiative-driven proposals.
Recipients of the state scholarship of the supreme Commander-in-Chief:
- Gofurjonov Khosilbek Ikboljon ugli — Cadet of the University of military security and defense;
- Tojiyev Javokhir Farhod ugli — Cadet of the Institute of Ground Forces;
- Tursunov Avazbek Adhamjon ugli — Cadet of the Military Aviation Institute;
- Numonov Umidjon Farhodjon ugli — Cadet of the Institute of Information and communication technologies and military communications.
The state scholarship of the supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan is not an accidental achievement, but a natural result of hard work, perseverance, and dedication. Such high recognition serves as a powerful incentive for future officers, encouraging faithful service to the Motherland, a responsible attitude toward military duty, and selfless contribution to strengthening the defense capability of our country.
