An international scientific-theoretical conference dedicated to regional security issues was held

Representatives of more than 100 organizations and countries, experts from leading military educational institutions, as well as representatives of Uzbekistan’s top universities, research institutions, and media outlets took part in the conference.
During the opening session, speakers provided detailed insights into key issues of the conference topic. They highlighted the tasks facing the countries of the region amid global geopolitical processes, the need to strengthen international cooperation in the field of security, enhance mutual trust, and ensure long-term regional stability. It was noted that Uzbekistan’s initiatives aimed at strengthening peace, stability, and the principles of good-neighborliness in Central Asia have received broad recognition. In particular, it was emphasized that joint scientific-practical conferences held since 2019 have become one of the most important platforms for discussing regional security issues.
The event featured a comprehensive discussion on the impact of global geopolitical and geoeconomic transformations on the situation in Central Asia, the improvement of regional security mechanisms, the characteristics of modern military conflicts, and the international experience in preventing them. Experts presented reports on the role of international organizations in global and regional security systems, as well as the importance of regional cooperation in strengthening stability in Central and South Asia.
Based on the expert discussions, the conference resulted in the development of proposals and recommendations aimed at further improving regional security policies, promoting new scientific and practical initiatives, expanding joint research, and strengthening international cooperation mechanisms. Participants emphasized that this forum made a significant contribution to enhancing cooperation in ensuring peace and security in Central Asia, as well as to forming scientifically grounded approaches to current issues.
