Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Deputy Minister Akram Aliyev met with Ilkka Räisänen, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Central Asia, at the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Heads of several large Finnish companies, including Peikko Group, Elematic, AINS Group, Kone, and East Office, also participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, the potential for implementing new promising projects was discussed constructively. The Finnish delegation was presented with key aspects of the favorable business climate established in Uzbekistan, as well as new investment initiatives in the areas of housing construction and electrical product manufacturing.

In turn, representatives from Finnish companies expressed a strong interest in the new projects, indicating their readiness to promptly initiate pre-project activities and prepare for the practical implementation phase. Several projects will be executed based on the principles of public-private partnerships, incorporating Finnish expertise and technologies.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their strong commitment to further deepening and expanding cooperation in all areas of bilateral interaction discussed and agreed upon a schedule of activities for 2025.
