About Consulate
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Turkiye were established on March 4 1991. The first Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Turkiye was opened in 1992. The Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul was established in 1996.
The consular district of the diplomatic mission in Istanbul covers the following provinces: Aydın, Balikesir, Bilecik, Bursa, Chanakkale, Edirne, Istanbul, İzmir, Kırklareli, Kojaeli, Manisa, Mugla, Sakarya, Tekirdag, as well as Bulgaria.
