Diplomatic relations with the Republic of Austria were established on March 25 1992, and Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Austria was opened in January 1993. The consular district of the diplomatic mission in Vienna includes Albania, Slovakia, North Macedonia, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina.
