On November 4, on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the General Conference of UNESCO, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Pankin.
The parties discussed priority areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.
The Russian diplomat highly appreciated the organization of the 43rd session of the General Conference of UNESCO in the city of Samarkand, noting that holding such a prestigious international forum in Uzbekistan became a vivid reflection of the country’s growing authority on the world stage.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to cooperation within international and regional structures.
