On the Meeting between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan

On October 31, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference taking place in Samarkand.
During the conversation, the steady development of Uzbekistan–Tajikistan relations was noted. The parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening the ties of friendship, trust, and good-neighborliness between the two brotherly nations.
The sides also discussed the importance of enhancing regional cooperation, connectivity, and sustainable development across Central Asia.
