On the meeting with representatives of the German “Berghof” Foundation

On August 13, 2025, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev held a meeting with the delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany’s “Berghof” Foundation, headed by the Head of the Department for Afghanistan, Central and South-East Asia Basir Feda.
During the negotiations, the parties comprehensively discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation on Afghanistan.
Mutual interest in maintaining a regular dialogue on the Afghan settlement was emphasized.
The meeting was held in a constructive spirit and confirmed the mutual interest in further developing practical dialogue between Tashkent and the “Berghof” Foundation.
