Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan

On 30 June, 2025 the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan took place in Baku .
The delegations were headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov.
During the talks, the sides discussed topical aspects of the bilateral agenda in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening the political dialogue between the two countries, including at the highest and high levels.
An agreement was reached to jointly work out issues related to the organisation of exchange visits at various levels, as well as the expansion of the legal framework of bilateral relations.
Within the framework of the visit, the Uzbek delegation was also received by Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.
