Meeting with Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan

On May 28, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Hisashi Matsumoto within the framework of working trip to Japan.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to visa liberalization, humanitarian and business exchanges, revision of security recommendations, as well as expansion of cooperation in the spheres of labour migration and tourism.
Noting the positive dynamics of Uzbek-Japanese relations, H.Matsumoto underscored Japan's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan as a key partner in Central Asia and expressed hope for its further deepening.
The sides reaffirmed mutual readiness to maintain close contacts between the foreign ministries in all areas of interaction.
