On the meeting Central Asia–GCC Strategic Dialogue Senior Officials

On 10 April 2025, a Senior Officials Meeting within the framework of the Central Asia–Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Strategic Dialogue was held in Tashkent.
The event brought together delegations from all Central Asian countries, as well as representatives from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the GCC.
The participants reviewed a wide range of issues aimed at further deepening cooperation between the two regions and discussed preparations for the Second Central Asia–GCC Summit.
First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon Aloev; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Najeeb Al-Bader; the representative of the country chairing the GCC; and Deputy Secretary General of the Cooperation Council, Abdul Aziz Hamad Aluwaisheg, delivered remarks during the meeting.
Speakers highlighted the strategic importance of strengthening partnerships between Central Asia and the GCC across various domains. They emphasized the need to elaborate concrete recommendations and proposals to enhance cooperation in political and diplomatic affairs, trade and investment, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the shared commitment to advancing multilateral cooperation mechanisms and reinforcing ties between Central Asia and the Arab States of the Gulf.
