On the Accreditation of Foreign Journalists for the Coverage of the First “Central Asia – EU” Summit

Dear representatives of foreign media!
On April 3–4, 2025, the “Central Asia – EU” Summit will be held in Samarkand.
The event will be attended by the President of the European Council António Costa and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. The summit will be chaired by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the participation of the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 33 dated 24.02.2006, the temporary accreditation of foreign journalists wishing to attend this event is carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The decision on accreditation is made within two weeks. To obtain accreditation, representatives of foreign media must submit an application to the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan via email at Press@mfa.uz.
Required documents for application submission: a written request from the media organization, a copy of the passport and biographical data of media representatives, as well as brief information about the media outlet.
Deadline: March 19, 2025, no later than 18:00 (Tashkent time)
