On the meeting with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan

On March 4, 2025, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan Oleg Malginov. During the meeting, the sides discussed in detail the current state of Uzbek-Russian interaction in the Afghan direction, as well as issues of ensuring regional security. The parties also expressed readiness to continue efforts aimed at socio-economic reconstruction of Afghanistan. Special attention was given to strengthening the partnership for expanding project activities aimed at the modernization and improvement of Uzbekistan’s healthcare system.
