On February 21, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Spain to Uzbekistan Ricardo Martinez Vazquez.
Ricardo Vazquez noted that Uzbekistan is an important partner of Spain in Central Asia and expressed readiness to further deepen bilateral relations. An important aspect of the discussion was the development of tourism ties, with an emphasis on the possibilities for increasing the flow of tourists between the countries. In addition, the ambassador raised the issue of the transport sector, noting the importance of improving logistics links and developing transport corridors to optimize trade flows.
