On January 17, 2025, Deputy Foreign Minister Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with the representatives of the German organization SBH West GmbH (Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk).

Parties discussed the key issues aimed at strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the field of vocational education and migration.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the trilateral memorandum that is aimed at facilitating the employment of Uzbek citizens in Germany as truck and bus drivers.

The parties also agreed to establish branches of SBH West GmbH training centers in the regions of Uzbekistan. These educational institutions will offer vocational training programs adapted to the requirements of the German labor market. Graduates of such centers will receive the necessary skills and qualifications for successful employment in Germany.

The implementation of the agreements reached will create new jobs for citizens of Uzbekistan in international labor markets and will be an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the field of education, migration and professional development.
