Meeting of the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iraq

On October 17, 2026, on the sidelines of the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Baghdad, First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iraq Muhammad Hussein Muhammad Bahrul Ulum.
During the meeting, particular attention was paid to strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, implementing joint projects, and enhancing business contacts.
The sides also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation within the framework of the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and other international organizations, emphasizing the importance of mutually supporting initiatives and coordinating approaches on pressing issues on the international agenda.
