On 29 September 2026, the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State of Kuwait was held
via videoconference.

The delegations were headed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait for Asian Affairs Nawaf Abdul Latif Al-Ahmad.

The consultations focused on strengthening political dialogue between the two countries, developing trade and economic, investment, and cultural and humanitarian ties, and expanding cooperation within international organizations. The sides also exchanged views on topical regional issues.
