Meeting with the Founder of Lithuania’s TVG Group International Transport Company

As part of efforts to expand the geography of legal and organized labor migration and diversify its destinations, on September 10, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev held a meeting with Albertas Sitavichius, Director of Lithuania’s international transport company “TVG Group.”
The talks focused on expanding organized employment opportunities in Lithuania for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, training professional drivers of heavy-duty vehicles, as well as developing joint measures to prevent irregular migration.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in further developing mutually beneficial cooperation and continuing practical engagement in the identified areas.
