Political Consultations Held between the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Armenia

On September 7, 2026, Yerevan hosted the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Armenia.
The delegations were headed by Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Bobur Usmanov and Mnatsakan Safaryan.
The sides held a detailed discussion on the current state and prospects for developing comprehensive cooperation in the political, trade and economic, and cultural and humanitarian spheres. The implementation of tasks identified during contacts at the highest and high levels was also reviewed.
The sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to expanding the legal framework for bilateral cooperation and strengthening interaction on international platforms.
Particular attention was paid to utilizing the existing potential in industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, agriculture, digital technologies, tourism, and education.
An agreement was reached to continue close coordination between the foreign ministries with a view to strengthening practical cooperation across a broad range of issues on the bilateral agenda.
