On the Meeting with the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran

On August 18, in Tehran, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Seyyed Reza Salehi-Amiri, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for developing Uzbekistan-Iran cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
Particular attention was paid to preserving and promoting the common historical and cultural heritage of the two countries, developing tourist exchanges, expanding cooperation between relevant institutions, as well as implementing joint projects in the fields of culture and tourism.
The sides emphasized their interest in further expanding practical cooperation and intensifying contacts between the relevant agencies.
