Meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus

On April 28, 2026, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with Aleksandr Ogorodnikov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for practical cooperation regarding Afghanistan, as well as certain issues on the Uzbek–Belarusian bilateral agenda.
The sides expressed hope for the further strengthening of mutual cooperation and the continuation of a constructive dialogue on Afghanistan.
