Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On April 9, within the framework of participation in the meeting of deputy foreign ministers in the “5+1” format, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with Lim Sang-woo, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

Issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular-legal field, including cooperation in the field of migration, as well as establishing direct cooperation between consular institutions and holding the next consular consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries were discussed.

The sides also exchanged views on combating illegal migration and expressed interest in further developing practical cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue constructive dialogue and develop cooperation in the above-mentioned areas.
