Uzbekistan welcomes the announcement of a full ceasefire and the establishment of a truce in the Middle East mediated by the leadership of Pakistan.

We consider this an important step towards the de-escalation of tensions and the creation of conditions for political and diplomatic dialogue, as well as for the search for mutually acceptable solutions.

We call on all parties to exercise restraint, refrain from actions that could lead to a renewed escalation of the situation, and continue constructive engagement in order to achieve sustainable peace and stability.

Uzbekistan reaffirms its unwavering position on the need to resolve conflicts exclusively through peaceful means in strict accordance with the principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
