On the tasks completed by the Agency for Innovative Development in the “Ijro.gov.uz” system during the period of January-august 2025

Between January and August 2025, the Agency for Innovative Development received 75 documents from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan through the “Ijro.gov.uz” system. These included 13 Presidential Decrees, 56 Presidential Resolutions, and 6 Presidential Meeting Minutes.

Within these documents, a total of 311 assignments were designated to the Agency: 54 under Presidential Decrees, 247 under Presidential Resolutions, and 10 under Presidential Meeting Minutes.

In particular, during August 2025, the Agency received 14 documents issued by the President via the “Ijro.gov.uz” system, including 3 Presidential Decrees and 11 Presidential Resolutions. These documents contained 23 assignments for the Agency, of which 6 were stipulated in Presidential Decrees and 17 in Presidential Resolutions.

The Agency has fully implemented 12 assignments from the President within the prescribed deadlines, relevant reports have been submitted for 10 assignments and their implementation deadlines were formally extended in accordance with established procedures. Regarding one assignment, measures were taken to extend the implementation period in compliance with legislative requirements.

Through the implementation of these tasks, the following results have been achieved:

Within the framework of state scientific programs in the field of research, 14 competitions were announced, resulting in the financing of 280 scientific projects with a total value of 493.3 billion UZS.

For 2025, a total of 5,250 quotas were allocated for research internships, basic doctoral studies (PhD), and doctoral studies (DSc). These quotas were fully utilized by 220 organizations.

The total number of research interns and doctoral students funded by the state budget has reached 12,290.

The number of newly developed scientific innovations has reached 232, of which 125 have been commercialized in domestic and international markets.

The number of “spin-off” enterprises, established for the production of science-intensive innovative products, has increased to 30.

The volume of foreign investment attracted and absorbed in science and research has amounted to USD 7.5 million.

Private sector investments in research and development have reached 2.99 billion UZS.

In the country’s 14 innovation districts, it was planned to provide innovation and entrepreneurship training for 3,485 members of low-income families. To date, 3,872 young people have been trained and awarded certificates.

Within the framework of start-up and commercialization projects, products worth 17.1 billion UZS have been produced, tax payments in the amount of 173 million UZS have been made, and 5.1 billion UZS of private sector funds have been attracted.
