A press tour was organized at the Andijan Youth Technopark with the participation of representatives of local media and active youth. During the event, participants became familiar with the technopark’s modern infrastructure, technical capabilities, laboratories, and the results of the “InnoX” program.
The technopark was established based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 313 dated May 22, 2020. Its main goal is to engage youth in science, innovation, and modern technologies, support their initiatives, and train them in competitive professions.
To date, more than 8,300 young people have participated in innovative education and production processes through the technopark. The “InnoX” business incubator and accelerator program has played a key role in this process. Over three seasons of the program (2024–2025), 503 applications were received, of which 140 participants were selected. As a result, 82 startup projects were developed, and 29 of them attracted investments totaling 8.31 billion UZS. These projects were submitted to various national and international grant programs and competitions, including “President Tech Award,” “Academic Mobility,” “Tumar Venture Fund,” “Future Scientist,” “EcoExpo 2025,” and “Aloqa Venture.”
In April 2025, at the “Investor Day” event organized by “Aloqa Venture,” two startup projects — “SpaceAgro” and “EduCompass” — each attracted $20,000 in investments, while the “Tokcha” project received $30,000.
Additionally, the “Professions of the Future” project is being implemented in cooperation with professional and general education institutions in the region to prepare youth for modern careers. As part of the project, more than 25 masterclasses on “Web Programming,” “Graphic Design,” and “SMM” were conducted for over 2,400 students from 8 vocational and 30 general education schools across the Andijan region.
Currently, the technopark offers training in more than 10 modern directions, including “Web Programming,” “SMM,” “Graphic and Web Design,” “Computer Literacy,” “Robotics,” “Cybersecurity,” and “Mobile App Development.” At present, 155 students are enrolled in these programs.
The technopark’s “FabLab” laboratory is equipped with high-precision prototyping, 3D printing, metalworking, and laser technologies. In the first half of 2025 alone, over 10 engineering solutions were developed in the lab. Infrastructure modernization is also ongoing. As part of the “Development of Rural Entrepreneurship in the Fergana Valley” project, supported by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, 15 new pieces of modern equipment have been delivered.
During the press tour, journalists received detailed answers to all their questions.
