The 105th Anniversary of Said Ahmad

A solemn event dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the birth of one of the brightest stars in Uzbek literature and a beloved national writer — Said Ahmad — was held at the Writers’ Alley, organized by the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan.
During the event, participants spoke about Said Ahmad’s immense contribution to the development of Uzbek literature, his immortal works, and his significant role in the spiritual life of the nation. His literary legacy was discussed, and his wise words and life path were presented as an example for the younger generation.
The event was attended by professors, students, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan Sirojiddin Sayyid, members of the Union, and representatives of the literary and artistic community.
As part of the event, the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan also organized the initiatives “One Week — One Book” and “Reading Summer — 2025”, along with a poetry and literature evening.
