Young Uzbek Scientists Undertake Research Internship in the United States

A group of young Uzbek scientists is currently undertaking a research internship at the University of Texas in Dallas, USA, as part of the international research internship program of the Agency for Innovative Development.
During the internship, the young researchers are conducting studies in advanced materials, nanoelectronics, and biomedicine. They are carrying out their research in laboratories led by Professor Anvar Zakhidov, using modern equipment and advanced research methods.
One of the main areas of research focuses on developing next-generation electronic devices. In particular, the researchers are developing memory devices based on lead-free perovskites and studying their potential. They are also investigating the properties of thin films made from these materials.
The young scientists are also conducting research in the field of biomedicine. In particular, they are studying the impact of changes in enzymes involved in DNA- and RNA-related processes on the development of cancer. Modern computer modeling methods are being used in this research.
In addition, practical research is being carried out on the production of carbon nanotubes, artificial muscles, and other advanced nanomaterials, as well as on the study of their properties.
The importance of the internship lies in the opportunity it provides young scientists to gain experience in an international research environment and develop practical skills in working with advanced laboratory equipment.
