Interactive Hydrogeological Map of Groundwater Resources Developed in Nurobod

A practical result has been achieved under the startup project “Development of an Interactive Hydrogeological Map of the Aquifers of Nurobod District,” which was funded by the Agency for Innovative Development in the amount of UZS 636 million.
As part of the project, an interactive hydrogeological map was developed to digitally systematize data on the aquifers of Nurobod District and make this information more accessible and convenient to use.
The interactive map can be used to study the area’s groundwater resources, analyze available data, plan the rational use of water resources, and generate a data base for future scientific and practical projects.
In addition, the project created 7 jobs and generated approximately UZS 30 million in revenue through the provision of services. A modern digital tool for studying and assessing groundwater resources was also developed.
Projects of this kind contribute to the digitalization of information on natural resources in the regions and the introduction of modern tools for their effective assessment and rational use.
