Certificates Presented to the Winners of the “Women Scientists” Competition

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, certificates were solemnly presented to the 18 winners of the “Women Scientists” competition organized by the Agency for Innovative Development.
The competition was organized to support the active participation of women in science and innovation, promote the implementation of their scientific ideas, and encourage promising research.
The winning projects cover a wide range of fields, including seismology, artificial intelligence, digital technologies, medicine, biotechnology, agriculture, ecology, chemistry, materials science, digitalization of cultural heritage, urban studies, and the social sciences and humanities.
These projects are aimed at contributing to the country's scientific and technological development through modern scientific approaches and innovative solutions, proposing practical solutions to pressing challenges in various sectors of the economy, and introducing new technologies into practice.
The speakers at the event noted that all necessary conditions have been created in Uzbekistan for women to engage in science and innovation. In particular, they emphasized that the share of women among the winners of various competitions has been steadily increasing.
Such competitions contribute to enhancing the innovative activity of women scientists and encourage them to work on new inventions and scientific discoveries.
