Accelerator Program Launched for Farmers and Agripreneurs in Karakalpakstan

Over the course of one month, 200 farmers and agripreneurs will receive hands-on training at the Nukus Youth Technopark. Participants will gain practical knowledge in modern agricultural practices and business development, including how to create high-value-added products, commercialize them, and access new markets.
The accelerator is being implemented as part of the project "Development of Sustainable Agricultural Production Systems in the Degraded Areas of Karakalpakstan," funded by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).
The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Tarifa Alzaabi, Director General of ICBA, representatives of the Agency for Innovative Development, local authorities, and program participants. Speakers expressed confidence that the initiative would equip participants with the skills needed to adopt innovative agricultural approaches, enhance the competitiveness of their products, and expand their access to international markets.
The initiative is expected to promote sustainable agricultural development in Karakalpakstan by encouraging innovation, strengthening the competitiveness of local producers, and creating new opportunities for agribusiness growth.
