The event was attended by the Acting Director of the Agency for Innovative Development A. Norov, who sincerely congratulated the participants on the 35th anniversary of our country's independence and spoke about the reforms being implemented in our country to develop science and innovation, as well as their results. It was noted that the financed projects are aimed at developing the economy and industry, improving the quality of life of the population, healthcare, environmental protection, and increasing the prestige of Uzbekistan in the international scientific arena.
At the event, which was attended by scientists from various regions of the republic, it was emphasized that strengthening the integration of science, education, production, and innovation is one of the priority areas of state policy. In this regard, it was emphasized that projects funded through grants should not only create scientific innovations but also yield practical results and contribute to the country's development through modern technologies and innovative solutions.
U. Tashkenbayev, Advisor to the Director of the Agency for Spirituality and the State Language, took part in the presentation of the certificates. The speakers noted that the competitions held within the framework of state scientific programs are an important factor in supporting scientific potential, implementing promising ideas into practice, and increasing the competitiveness of Uzbek scientists in the international arena.
I began my scientific career in the 2000s. At that time, the attention paid to science was negligible. There was no equipment in the laboratories, and if there was equipment, there was a shortage of good specialists. We can't even talk about grants. Years have passed, and today I have reached the level of a teacher myself, and I have students. To be honest, I admire them. Today's scientist has every opportunity. Great results can only be achieved through constant self-improvement and academic integrity," he said.
