Prospects of the SATREPS Program Discussed

Following the 5th meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) held within the framework of the SATREPS-2020 Program, representatives of the Innovation Development Agency met with Professor Yamaguchi of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), as well as professors from Kyoto, Kobe, and Mie Universities and project experts.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the results achieved to date under the SATREPS-2020 project, the key issues discussed at the 5th Joint Coordinating Committee meeting, and the decisions adopted during the session.
The parties also discussed further development of scientific and technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan, upcoming phases of the SATREPS Program, funding mechanisms for joint Uzbekistan–Japan research projects, future calls for proposals, and priority areas for bilateral cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation, expanding joint scientific research, and continuing collaborative efforts to promote the practical implementation of innovative developments.
