The event was attended by Kon'irotboy Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Asror Norov, Acting Director of the Innovation Development Agency; deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis; rectors and faculty members of higher education institutions; as well as representatives of a number of ministries and government agencies and students.
Opening the event, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Kon'irotboy Sharipov sincerely congratulated young people on the upcoming Youth Day. In his address, he emphasized the invaluable role of youth in the development of the country and wished them great success in their scientific and innovative activities.
During the event, 21 talented young people who achieved outstanding results in the “Academic Mobility” Program, the “Future Scientist,” “Engineers of the Future,” and “Heirs of Mirzo Ulugbek” competitions, as well as other nationwide scientific and innovation contests, Olympiads, festivals, and competitions implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, and who distinguished themselves through their innovative initiatives, were awarded the “Leader of Innovative Ideas” badge.
The event served to further enhance young people’s interest in science and innovation, support their intellectual potential, and encourage promising ideas and initiatives.
